Hussian School of Art has recently partnered with Relativity Education to open a studio lot branch campus in Los Angeles. To celebrate this dynamic Hollywood partnership the 2015 poster contest theme is, “Recreate your favorite movie poster.”
The objective of this contest is to design a poster that depicts a creative expression of the theme. Original designs can include any art medium or combination of techniques, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, graphics, and photography.
Contest Rules:
Original artwork 12 x 16 inches, vertical format only
Submissions can be sent via email as a PDF file or shipped to the address below
Artwork shipped to the school will be returned only if proper return packaging and postage is included
Art instructors may submit as many posters as they wish of original student work, but pieces must be clearly labeled as listed below
Deadline for submission is March1st, 2015. Accepted entries will be notified by March 9th, 2015. Exhibition and reception is Saturday, April 18th, 2015. Posters will be juried by a panel of Hussian faculty and selected on the basis of originality in visualizing the concept and the overall creative execution of the artwork.

All pieces must be labeled with the following information: Student’s full name, High School, Grade, Home Address, Phone, Email, and medium (or, media). Pieces missing this information will not be considered.
Electronic art submissions can include the required information in the body of the email message. Mailed entries must attach the information to the back of each poster design.
Awards: First Place- $100 Cash Award plus a scholarship to our Summer Workshop Second Place- $50 Cash Award plus a scholarship to our Summer Workshop Third Place- $25 Cash Award plus a scholarship to our Summer Workshop
